STRATEGIC CHANNEL ANALYSIS

Get a prioritized basis for decision-making for your marketing budget

We identify where channels, markets, and workflows are limiting the impact of your marketing efforts. You’ll get a prioritized roadmap that makes it easier to select initiatives, rule out others, and establish a shared direction between marketing and sales.

Thoroughness Before Taking on More Activities

When prioritizing marketing efforts, adding more activities is rarely the first solution. First, you need to know what is already working, where the connection is breaking down, and which decisions are actually worth making.

A strategic channel analysis brings together data, insights, and business objectives into a single framework. This makes it easier to prioritize the budget, resources, and next steps based on more informed decisions.

From Insight to the Next Decision

An analysis should make it easier to decide what to do next.

You'll get a comprehensive picture of the possibilities, limitations, and dependencies, so your next decision won't be based solely on a gut feeling.

Some continue working with us. Others use the roadmap with their own team. Both approaches can be the right choice.

What is a strategic channel analysis?

A strategic channel analysis is a thorough assessment of your digital marketing efforts across the channels and markets relevant to your business. We examine data, past campaigns, technical setups, and the workflows that influence how much you can get out of your marketing budget.

The purpose is not to go over everything just for the sake of going over it. The purpose is to clarify the priorities, so that you can decide what needs to be examined more closely, changed, or deliberately left out.

Here's how it works strategic channel analysis

We invite sales to the table

When sales and marketing work in silos, you lose pace, precision and revenue. Unfortunately, we see this often - even in organizations with strong professional competencies. That's why we always invite sales to the table from day one.

In strategic channel analysis, we look at how marketing efforts support the everyday life and goals of sales. It's not just about generating more leads, but ensuring that the efforts contribute to real pipeline and revenue growth.

When we combine marketing data with sales experience, you get a more accurate decision-making basis and a clearer direction for your overall growth efforts.

Should we figure out if a channel analysis is the right next step?

Before we discuss an offer, we’ll clarify your current situation, what decisions need to be made, and whether a
Strategic channel analysis is the right next investment.

You don't need to have the entire problem statement ready. But if you provide a little context about markets, channels or the decision you need to make, we can make better use of this conversation.

Frequently asked questions

We often adapt the individual analysis to the customer's specific needs, wishes and maturity, but as a starting point, we look at the entire digital palette - that is, everything from your TechStack, content productions, CRM/Marketing Automation, Paid Social, SEO, Google Ads and Tracking. We do this so we know exactly where to start and what to embrace first to ensure the greatest impact and future growth returns. But we can also just focus on a few selected channels and disciplines to start with, if desired.

A strategic channel analysis can be a great framework for expanding into new markets, as you can benefit from the many insights that a channel analysis provides. For example, it can help you find out what you're already doing really well in existing markets so you can scale your setup based on what's already working. This way, you can ensure a more controlled and smooth expansion, so you can target the channels and efforts that will contribute to the most growth.

Most people who choose to run a strategic channel analysis use it to get an overview of their existing marketing efforts and gain insight into how they can improve performance across the board. And we embrace the channels and areas that make sense for you. But we also speak from experience when we say that there are a few areas where we should always take a closer look.

It depends on the number of markets and how many disciplines/channels we need to investigate. As a starting point, a strategic channel analysis costs from DKK 50,000, where we operate with 4 disciplines (e.g. SEO, Google Ads, Paid Social and Tracking) and 1 market. If you want us to address more markets, there will typically be an extra charge of DKK 10,000 per additional market. And if you want to add more disciplines, it will be an additional DKK 5,000.
