What are breadcrumbs?
Breadcrumbs (in English breadcrumbs) are small navigational links that show users where they are on the website and how that page relates to other pages on the website. Breadcrumbs can increase the usability of your website, while making it easier for Google to see the context and relevance of pages. In addition, breadcrumbs (if you mark them with structured data) on Google instead of the web address of the page (written in green), making the search result clearer and more attractive to click on:
We recommend breadcrumbs on large websites with a lot of content and many levels of content. On smaller websites, breadcrumbs are unlikely to have a positive effect, either on usability or on the site's visibility on Google. The term breadcrumbs (breadcrumbs) comes as an aside from the story of Hansel and Gretel, who used breadcrumbs to find their way through the forest.
