Aller Media is the leading publisher of magazines and weeklies in the Nordics with over 10 different weeklies and magazines that are published both in print and as digital media. In order to maintain a market share of 73 % and over one million monthly digital readers, Aller Media lacked one unified group initiative for their SEO efforts.
Against this background, InboundCPH and Aller Media entered into a partnership in 2013. Through strategic advice and training courses for the management and 200 employees, SEO was made an integral part of the group's digital strategy. The result is unmistakable: a doubling of readership from Google across all media.
The goal of the collaboration was to increase the SEO competence level of the management and content-producing employees, thereby ensuring Aller Media a stronger presence on Google across all magazines and weeklies.
We jointly built a strategic development project which mapped the value of SEO and the necessary areas of action. Based on this, we carried out a number of practice-oriented training courses for more than 200 employees.
The result of the collaboration is a doubled readership from Google across all media. Aller Media's employees today work purposefully with digital content production, which makes a noticeable difference to both readership and financial bottom line.
