GA4 uses machine learning (AI) to provide better and more accurate data quality. However, GA4 is very different in reporting and user interface compared to the old version and therefore requires some getting used to.<\/p>\n<h2>Why should you migrate to GA4?<a id=\"bestil\"><\/a><\/h2>\n<p>Data collected via Google Universal is not possible to transfer to GA4 as your data will be lost in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>If you do not yet have a complete GA4 setup, you risk losing business-critical and historical data - in addition, you will not be able to compare data from the previous year from the day Google Analytics Universal is phased out. So it's important to set up an alternative as soon as possible to avoid losing too much data.<\/p>\n<h2>Advantages of GA4?<a id=\"bestil\"><\/a><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GA4 focuses much more on cookies and privacy.
