Successful results come from a close collaboration between client and SEO agency. That's why good relationships are essential and a key element in driving and creating results from the collaboration. If there is no good chemistry and good gut feeling present in the initial negotiations, the relationship and collaboration will most likely fail.
Some agencies can work on everything from SEO to web development, visual design, IT infrastructure, social media, email marketing, print advertising, public relations and more. These can be great skills to bring into a business, but the more different services an agency offers, the less specialised the agency typically is in each service.
Reconcile expectations of collaboration at every conceivable level - both the business expectations of budgets, deadlines and results and the more practical expectations of delivery, working methods, dialogue and contact. This will minimise the risk of misunderstandings and conflicts that can lead to the breakdown of the relationship.

Prior to the collaboration, we prepare an SEO Business Case. With the Business Case, you get a calculation of your economic growth potential and profitability through a targeted SEO strategy, a mapping of your market position on Google compared to your closest competitors and a review of the areas of action you need to prioritise.
The Business Case answers how profitable your current SEO efforts are and to what extent SEO is a profitable investment. At the same time, it provides a basis for setting clear and realistic goals for the work, so you can better align expectations on budget, metrics and results, both online and with an SEO agency. 2. Kick-off meeting
The cooperation starts with a meeting where we jointly define a strategy, an action plan and concrete objectives towards which we can steer our efforts. We make sure the goals are realistic and achievable, and we regularly evaluate the SEO process to ensure we maintain momentum and direction.
The kick-off meeting is based on the business case, any initial analyses and the formal framework of the collaboration, and forms the basis for our further work. To ensure a constructive and fruitful collaboration and a good ongoing dialogue, a steering group is established with representatives from both parties.
The prerequisite for successful SEO work is that it is based on a solid knowledge of your target audience, website, competitors and market position. A good SEO strategy therefore includes a number of knowledge-building analyses.

If, during the initial phase of the collaboration, we discover errors and inadequacies on your website that can be easily remedied, we will immediately suggest concrete solutions. Quick-wins can address issues such as indexing, load time, redirects and duplicate content.
Any quick wins don't change the fact that SEO is a long-term process and that it can take up to several months before you see the first results of the work - regardless of which SEO agency you work with. In our experience, the profitability of SEO is highest when the collaboration lasts for a minimum of 12 months.
We are implementing the strategy through a series of actions in the following four areas. We will not necessarily prioritise all areas equally, but will make a concrete assessment of which weighting of the areas is most profitable for you.
6. Advice and training
An integral part of our cooperation is advice and professional sparring. We believe in knowledge sharing because it allows you to manage your internal SEO activities and because the results are better if you are an active partner in the collaboration.
We'll have a regular dialogue about the extent to which you want to improve your skills in the areas we work on. If necessary, we can organise courses to provide you with knowledge and concrete strategies, methods and tools that you can use in your daily work.
We send monthly reports documenting our work and our results. The reports may include, for example, documentation of our deliverables, your positions on Google, your visitor numbers and the number of sales.
The content of the reports may vary according to the targets we have set. The reports are based on data from analytics tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush. In addition to the reports, weekly statistics on your positions on Google are sent.
We hold quarterly evaluation meetings, where we evaluate the progress and results of the cooperation together. The evaluation meetings are based on the reports we have sent you on an ongoing basis, documenting our work and our results.
On the basis of the evaluation, we organise and adjust our future activities to ensure that we achieve the objectives we have set together. We do not reduce our workload if we are close to achieving our objectives or if we reach our objectives ahead of schedule.
