Targeted optimization of the B2B customer journey

An industry analysis showed that Audi fared significantly worse than its closest competitors on Google for keywords related to company cars. A thorough research phase is the basis for the purchase of a company car, which is why it is important for Audi to get hold of potential customers as early in the decision-making process as possible.

Against this background, Audi entered into an SEO collaboration with InboundCPH to create greater awareness of Audi among B2B buyers. The collaboration has led to a remarkable increase in the number of visitors to Audi's website, and Audi today has a much stronger market position in the purchase and leasing of company cars.

Goals

The objective of the collaboration was to reach the B2B buyers on Google and thereby increase Audi's market position within the purchase and leasing of company cars. Audi also wanted to gain visibility against selected competitors on Google.

Process

The solution model has included, among other things, keyword analyses, technical analyses, content optimization of pages dealing with the purchase and leasing of company cars, link building as well as strategic advice for leading people in Audi Denmark.

Result

After one year of work with SEO, the total visitor traffic from Google to Audi's website increased by 642.23 % – an increase that nicely illustrates how much potential can sometimes be realized by realizing a targeted SEO strategy.
