Do you have a sharp pen, good business acumen and good analytical skills? And would you like to be part of a successful online marketing agency in Copenhagen's inner Østerbro district, where the focus is on search engine optimisation (SEO) for digitally ambitious companies such as Spies, Atea and Blockbuster? Then we want to hear from you.
We are looking for a student assistant to help us with content production, search engine optimization of content, keyword analysis and secondary publishing of content in WordPress. You will be part of an SEO team of five and will report to Senior SEO Specialist Jacob Nørtov, who will work with you to define your tasks.
One of your main tasks is the production, search engine optimisation and proofreading of textual content for our clients' websites. Content will be written based on a keyword analysis of the target audience's search habits and can cover anything from cardboard boxes and parcel delivery to pension advice and palletising machines.
Another essential task is the preparation of keyword analyses in Excel using tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner and Rank Tracker. The position may also include work on publishing blog posts in WordPress and preliminary professional marketing work of various nature.
You are a student in higher education with at least one year left of your studies. Your field of study is irrelevant, as long as you are a good written communicator in English, have a good understanding of business and are able to get to grips with new business areas easily when preparing keyword analyses and writing content.
You have an interest in online marketing with a focus on search engine optimisation (SEO), but we do not expect you to have a strong knowledge of either search engine optimisation or the aforementioned analytics tools. We offer a thorough training programme and will also assist you with sparring and professional knowledge to the extent that you need it.
As a person, you are used to taking responsibility and ownership for your efforts and driving your work tasks. You are self-driven but enjoy sparring and sharing knowledge with your colleagues. You are structured and detail-oriented in your work, and you thrive in an active and vibrant office environment with (mostly) good music in the background.
We offer a varied workday with varied tasks, good opportunities for professional development and a flexibility that ensures a balance between work, study and leisure. The working environment is informal and characterised by humour, commitment and good teamwork. We have a flat management structure with short decision paths and freedom under responsibility.
You'll be part of an ambitious, growing agency that's highly recognised in the industry for our professionalism, relationships and the results we create in partnership with our clients. The position is expected to have a scope of 8-16 hours per week depending on your preferences and time availability. Commencement is desired as soon as possible.
Please send us a letter of motivation and a CV - preferably with a sample of previous writing - to [email protected]. Write "Application for student job" in the subject field. Application deadline: 15 November 2020 at the latest.
We hold talks on an ongoing basis. Your desk will be ready as soon as you are. If you have any questions about the position or the application process, please contact Jacob Nørtov at 30 26 52 67 or email [email protected].
